Chip is the founder & CEO of Boomtown. Prior to Boomtown, he founded BroadHop which was acquired by Cisco and IP Commerce, while as CEO he grew it from an idea to $8B in annual payment volume while directly helping companies like Square and Intuit launch their payment solutions. He has also served as an Advisor to PaySimple, Leapset and Loop Commerce among others in Silicon Valley. He also served as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Commerce Ventures. He is a ’40 under 40’ winner as well as the recipient of Michael P. Duffy Leadership award, an accolade honoring the entrepreneurial spirit of the late Chase executive Mike Duffy.

Hans Morris is managing partner of Nyca Partners. He is the chairman of the board of Lending Club, and a board member of KCG, AvidXchange, Boomtown, Payoneer, and SigFig. From 2010 to 2014 he was managing director and advisor at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm. From 2007 until 2010 he served as president of Visa Inc., and from 1980 until 2007, he worked at Citigroup in several operating and management roles, including CFO and head of finance, technology and operations for Citi’s institutional businesses, COO of the investment bank, and head of the financial services group at Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Morris graduated from Dartmouth College, and serves as chairman of the Board of Overseers of the Hopkins Center for Arts at Dartmouth. He is also chairman of the board of MASS MoCA.

David is a seasoned leader in the hospitality industry with deep restaurant domain expertise including brand leadership, enterprise strategy, human capital, operations, turnarounds, marketing and loyalty, existing and emerging technologies, benefits and compensation, supply chain and purchasing, franchising, payments, and payroll systems. David’s most recent full-time position was President of Heartland Payment Systems Hospitality Group. Prior to his role at Heartland, David served as Chief Operating Officer of the National Restaurant Association which focuses on restaurant issues and advocacy. Earlier, David developed deep operational and brand leadership experience across quick service, fast casual, family dining and fast casual segments of the industry. This includes nearly a decade in the Wendy’s franchise system, a decade helping build a high volume casual dining brand d/b/a Rio Bravo Cantina and then worked with Applebee’s International. He followed this with steadily increasing and diverse C-level leadership responsibilities with Shoney’s Inc. and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. He currently serves on several advisory boards including ToGo Technologies Inc., Juvo360 and Built Technologies.

John was President of Visa Inc. from October 2009 until March 2013 and as Chief Operating Officer from 2007. John joined Visa in 1999 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Inovant the company that owns and operates VisaNet, an electronic payment processing network. Prior to that, John served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Unum Provident Corp., a disability insurance company, and had direct responsibility for technology and operations. From 1989 to 1998, John was Executive Vice President for Credicorp Inc., where he was responsible for consumer banking, technology and operations. Prior to joining Credicorp Inc., John held various management positions with Wells Fargo Bank. He currently serves as a Board Member of Global Payments, Inc. and CIGNA Corporation. John graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jeff Hack


Jeff is presently advising private equity and venture firms on fintech, financial services and IT data/analytics investments. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Boost Payment Solutions, a rapidly growing B2B payments and data solutions provider with a blue chip client roster.

Jeff most recently spent 4 years at First Data as part of the senior leadership team recruited by KKR to turn around the 5th largest-ever LBO and served as a member of First Data’s Management Committee. Jeff played a key role in shaping the firm’s strategy and transformation which led to a successful IPO in the fall of 2015 and the firm now produces over $1B in annual free cash flow. Initially overseeing products, solutions and service delivery for First Data’s Global Business Solutions unit, his firm-wide responsibilities expanded to include pricing, client experience, sales and management information and enterprise programs. He also led the firm’s US Small Business unit, which represents a significant portion of firm revenue and profits.

Prior to First Data, Jeff served as Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. At Morgan Stanley, he was part of the new management team that led the successful integration of Smith Barney following its acquisition from Citigroup, which resulted in the client base and salesforce of the combined companies being stabilized, the quadrupling of profits and tripling of profit margins. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jeff spent 7 years at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co in a variety of leadership roles as Executive Vice President and Managing Director. Among his responsibilities were leading JPMC Corporate Strategy and serving as Chief Operating Officer of J.P. Morgan’s Treasury and Securities Services businesses, where he managed 25,000 people in over 20 countries. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Private Wealth Management businesses, where he oversaw products and services in addition to the unit’s finance, strategy, technology and operations.

Earlier in his career, Jeff spent 10 years at Smith Barney in leadership positions including product management, strategy and finance. He served as Smith Barney’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2004.

He previously worked at McKinsey & Company as engagement manager advising major financial services, technology, media and retail companies from 1991 to 1994.

Jeff is a cum laude graduate in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He resides in Scarsdale, New York with his wife Amanda and teenage sons Andrew and Tyler.
